沙上村是横河镇的行政村，属镇乡结合区，村民以谭姓为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，沙上的谭氏先祖在宋代从江西迁到横河，明代族人谭座契迁到横河的沙坝上居住，人越聚越多，沙坝成了村子，便叫沙上。[1]清代，此地归善政巡检司；民国时期归第九区智勇乡；新中国成立初期归第四区横河乡。1958年10月成为沙上大队，1983年11月成为沙上乡，1986年又叫大埔围管理区，1999年3月才定为沙上村民委员会。[1]
