花园村是横河镇的行政村，据传得名于村民落脚时遍地的杨梅花与梧桐花。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
花园村在民国时期已属横河乡，1950年一度归响水乡的五联村（又称龙花）。1960年起它是横河公社的花园大队；之后改称花园乡（1983年）、花园管理区（1986年），并在1999年成为花园村民委员会。[1]
