西角村是横河镇的行政村，处在横河的西面一角，与东角村遥相对应。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
西角的前身是民国时期智勇乡的第九保，新中国成立初期并入第四区横河乡。之后它成为横河公社的西角大队（1958年10月），改乡（1983年11月），改管理区（1986年），1999年3月起设西角村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
西角村在2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号，2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
