石陂村是东岸镇下辖的行政村。村边小河上筑有一道石头砌成的大水陂，村名因此得来。[1]
1957至1958年属才口管理区；1959至1960年，木格、石陂、竹廊、大石湾、宫田五处合组石陂大队，1961至1962年重新分开；1963年木格、石陂、宫田三个大队合并为石陂大队。1983年起称乡，1986年起为农村管理区，1999年起设村民委员会。2021年12月获评「2021年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
