地名与历史[edit]
内围因练江支流环绕而得名，詹厝乡因詹姓得名，詹厝乡的寨门上题有“新丰”二字，所以又叫新丰村；两村合称“内新”。[1]两村创立于明洪武年间（1368—1398年）。[1]1950年隶属联美二乡，到1958年公社化，称内新大队，1986年起改村委会，1992年起称管理区，1999年又恢复村委会。[1]
经济与社会[edit]
村民有詹、杨、王、洪、刘、颜、苏等姓，耕地723亩，种水稻和甘薯，历史上做竹器。[1]改革开放后以内衣文胸和电子电器为主，建筑企业共1家，小作坊计107家，村民多在陈店、深圳等地做电子电器生意。[1]1992年新建校舍，2007年易地再建。[1]
内新村2020年至2022年连续上榜淘宝村名单，2019年9月列入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单，2023年5月获“2022年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
