福潭村又名鸭潭，在陈店镇南部，广汕公路南侧，东面是七陂村，南面与仙城镇相连，北面是柯围一带。[1][2]明万历年间（1573—1619年）建村，2004年与郑围村合并为一个村委会。[1]面积2.323平方千米，1087户、6263人（含郑围1275人）。[1]
地名与历史[edit]
村东有一水潭，传说潭里有一群金鸭，久旱不干，起初叫鸭潭乡，后来雅称福潭。[1]祖先自福建莆田迁来。[1]1950年隶属六禾四乡，1958年公社化后分属郑围、福潭两个大队，1986年分设福潭、郑围村委会，直到2004年才并为一个福潭村委会。[1]快懂百科称此地史上有“十姓居址”之说，今有蔡、郭、柯、颜、陈、杨等姓。[2]
经济与社会[edit]
耕地1476亩，山地一千多亩，镇里的“福仙园”骨灰存放楼就建在这片山林地上。[1]农业种水稻、甘薯，传统食品有油酥和糖葱薄饼；改革开放后以服装、文胸、电子电器生产为主，建筑企业共3家，小作坊计48家，设福潭、郑围两所小学。[1]
2020年、2021年、2022年福潭村连续入选淘宝村名单。[1]
名胜与特产[edit]
百度百科和快懂百科把西天佛祖庙、关帝古庙列为村里的景点；前者称西天佛祖庙留有清同治年间的水利碑刻。[3]糖葱薄饼出自福潭，用白色糖葱撒上芝麻，以薄如纸的烙熟面皮卷包而食，因福潭旧称鸭潭，也有人称之“鸭潭糖葱”。[2]
