历史沿革[edit]
明建文年间（1399—1402年）立寨，因位于练江两支流汇口而叫溪口。[1]1950年隶属港溪乡，到1958年公社化，称溪口大队，1979年又从溪口大队分出范溪大队，1983年起称溪口乡，1986年起改居委会，1992年起称管理区，1999年又恢复居委会。[1]
经济与社会[edit]
耕地1461亩，农业以水稻为主，传统上做竹器、烧贝灰、养三鸟。[1]改革开放后规划建设文胸城，生产文胸内衣及辅料配件和电子电器，辖区内建筑企业共54家，小作坊计204家；集体出资建酒店并出租商住楼。[1]1984年侨胞和村民集资建校舍，1999年易地新建；锻压厂、陈店第一初级中学、工商所、农行、国税、供电所、法庭等机构也设在辖区内。[1]
