历史沿革[edit]
下溪头据载创于明天顺年间（1457—1464年），祖先从磊口村迁来；清顺治十五年，范氏到此设寨，称范厝寨。[1]1950年隶属港溪乡，到1958年公社化，称溪口大队，1979年又从溪口大队分出范溪大队，1983年起属溪口乡，1986年起改村委会，1999年又恢复村委会。[1]
经济与社会[edit]
耕地422亩，种水稻；建筑企业共2家，小作坊计16家，主要做文胸内衣、塑料丝花和电子电器。[1]侨胞与村民合资建了校舍。[1]
范溪村2020年、2021年、2022年连续上榜淘宝村名单。[1]
