历史沿革[edit]
村子明万历年间立寨（博雅地名网写作1578—1619年，历史沿革栏写作1573—1619年）。[1]1958年5月，大长陇乡的大部分划归普宁县，唯独汕柄村仍留在陈店。[2]1950年隶属汕柄乡，到1958年公社化，称汕柄大队，1983年起称汕柄乡，1986年起改村委会，1992年起称管理区，1999年又恢复村委会。[1]
经济与社会[edit]
村民有颜、郭、黄、王、洪等姓，耕地979亩，种水稻和甘薯。[1]改革开放后主要生产文胸内衣、服装和塑料丝花，建筑企业共10家，小作坊计79家，也有村民到广州、深圳经商。[1]1984年华侨与村民合建学校，2008年重建教学楼，办成九年一贯制学校；2004年建肉菜市场。[1]
该村2021年、2022年先后上榜淘宝村名单，2017年10月获第一批广东省卫生村称号。[1]
