桥头镇是广东省东莞市下辖的建制镇，位于东莞市东北部，北邻博罗县，东接惠州市惠阳区，南与谢岗、樟木头相邻，西与常平接壤，西北与企石相连。镇人民政府驻桥光大道1号。全镇面积约56平方千米，辖6个社区、11个行政村。[1][2][3]

境内兼有丘陵与平地，东江流经其中，东江—深圳供水工程的源头便在此处。[5] 2020年第七次全国人口普查时，常住人口约20.73万人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代已有人在今桥头境内聚居。清康熙六十年（1721年），虎门北栅人陈似源致仕还乡，在桥头山建墟，取名「义和墟」；民国初年，庙冈、义和、东桥市三墟合并，称桥头墟。[5][7]

1948年，此地归东莞县第三区管辖，称丰乐乡。1954年，东莞全县划为十个乡级镇，桥头是其中之一。此后该地先后设过区，也曾在1958年并入常平人民公社，1959年又从中析出，单独设立桥头公社；1983年公社撤销，改设为区。改称镇的时间，百度百科作1985年11月，博雅地名网则作1986年11月撤区设镇，两说并存，本条目暂依前者列出。[1][7]

地理环境[edit]

桥头属亚热带季风气候，夏季长，冬季短，光照充足。镇内既有丘陵，也有平原，东江干流穿过境内，东江—深圳供水工程的源头设在这里。[5][6] 镇里的生态规划沿石马河、东江一线展开，小海河等水系也纳入其中。[4]

经济[edit]

十四五期间（2021年至2025年），桥头的地区生产总值跨过200亿元的关口，年均增速为4.2%。同一时期，工业总产值五年合计587亿元，工业方面的投资为147.8亿元，消费品零售额的五年合计达48.3亿元。[4] 2020年，全镇地区生产总值为174.63亿元，规模以上工业增加值为103.3亿元。[1]

镇政府在2026年的工作报告中提出，在东太湖一带统筹约10平方千米用地，以1600多亩现代化产业园的开发为核心，先行区约200亩，并以此作为沿东江高质量发展的引擎。[4]

城镇建设[edit]

2025年，桥头以美丽圩镇为目标推进中心区建设。「七个一」标准下的美丽圩镇建成，入口通道整修一新，示范主街工业路的首开区完成改造，中心市场片区的秩序有所改善，美丽圩镇客厅也投入使用。[4]

文化[edit]

石水口村与大洲社区都有莫家拳的传承。石水口村的村页称莫家拳为国家级非物质文化遗产；大洲社区的页面则称，2009年该社区的莫家拳入选第三批省级非物质文化遗产。两处的说法不同，本条目都列出，不作取舍。[11][12]

2026年的工作报告提到，邓屋与迳联是镇内两个省级古村落，计划有序推进其保护与开发；镇内的美食也被列为消费线路的重点，报告所举的特色有桥头羊肉、东江河鲜和大洲粉葛。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

莲湖公园位于镇中心的松山岭，2000年3月开工，当年年底完成首期工程，次年1月18日起免费对外开放。园林的格调取法苏杭，有七层观光塔楼（高38.8米），园内莲湖夏季种植荷花约300亩，冬季则呈现油菜花海。[9]

桥头革命烈士纪念碑立于镇中心区，靠近鸡心岭一侧，1963年4月由桥头公社修建。碑座上刻着抗日战争和解放战争时期在本镇牺牲的12位烈士的名字。[8]

石水口村内有两处与战时活动相关的遗址：云和莫公祠是东江纵队铁东大队大队部遗址，1944年2月铁东大队在此成立并设立大队部；中和圩旧街223号则是中共东莞县委交通情报站遗址，1942年中共东莞县委选址于中和圩。[10]
