田头角村的位置在桥头镇政府驻地西边，约6.5千米。它的南面连着常平镇的黄泥塘村，北面与大洲社区接壤；东面与禾坑村相接，西面是常平镇的田尾村。[2][3]
村内有百年游会，每年农历正月十五、十六，村民与田尾村轮流主办，联合巡游。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网称，该村立村于宋代末年，南雄珠玑巷陈氏迁来，原名棠堤阁，解放初谐音改为今名。百度百科则载，村址始建于明朝洪武年间，两说在立村年代上不一致。[1][3]
据博雅地名网，1976年分出设田头角大队，此后改设乡与管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]

镇政府网站载，村内市场主体约735家，规模以上企业21家；另有另有上市企业1家，专精特新企业1家，高新技术企业6家。2025年集体经济收入约2164万元，集体资产约1.44亿元，股东人均分红约一万元。[2]

镇政府网站载，村里获「广东省乡村治理示范村」和「东莞市美丽庭院典型村」的称号。[2]
2026年1月，村庄获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
村内有文定陈公祠。村中心的文化广场已经提质，配套有文化活动中心、阅读驿站、村史馆与游会文化长廊。[2]
