历史沿革[edit]

塘尾在1949年属阳江县七区，1953年属十七区古井乡，1958年5月转归儒洞乡。同年11月编入大跃进人民公社，12月改归入儒洞人民公社。1959年成立塘尾生产大队，1961年划归新墟人民公社，1967年成立革命委员会，1980年变为生产大队管委会。1983年开设塘尾乡，由新墟区管辖；1987年2月成立村委会，1988年阳西建县后隶属新墟镇；1989年10月建立管理区，1999年撤区重新设立村委会。[2]

物产[edit]
