桥头村是东源县双江镇下辖的行政村，村名来自村中旧时的一座老桥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子因旧时的一座老桥得名。1958年这里设桥头大队，1983年改为桥头乡，1987年改为桥头管理区。1999年，县政府批准成立桥头村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

2020年8月，桥头村入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，主打香果。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年11月，桥头村获得第六届全国文明村镇的称号。[1]

2026年1月，桥头村又被认定为省里第二批“百千万工程”典型村之一。[1]
