金星村属蕉城镇，辖13个村民小组，村情材料载有434户、1530人，总面积2.465平方千米。解放前原属陂角，1956年合作化时才改叫金星。[1]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

1956年农业合作化时，这片原先隶属陂角村的地方改称金星。1958年编为蕉城公社的金星生产大队；1983年划入兴福区立乡，1987年改隶蕉城镇，1999年起为金星村委会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

耕地约1113.31亩，种水稻、果树和蔬菜；当年村特色经济收入302.3万元，农村经济总收入907万元。[1]

2026年3月，金星村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇；2019年9月，该村也列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[1]
