樟坑村在蕉城镇东北侧的山区，辖12个村民小组，村情材料载有330户、1160人，总面积8.209平方千米。村名来自当地成片的黄樟木。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村里的黄姓自称出于镇平县东厢村黄江夏（即今蕉城镇横岗下），五世祖秩彝公一脉传到十世，被迫迁入深山沟谷居住，见当地樟木很多、千年黄樟成片，便以樟坑为名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年归文福乡；1958年并入蕉城公社，作为生产大队；1983年起由蕉城镇政府管理，期间先后叫过村委会和管理区，1999年起固定为樟坑村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
耕地约809.92亩，经济作物有烤烟，另种水稻、果树、蔬菜；当年村特色经济收入275.3万元，农村经济总收入826万元。[1]
2019年9月，樟坑村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[1]
