黄田村属蕉城镇，辖14个村民小组，村情材料载有577户、2053人，总面积1.533平方千米。明崇祯六年（1633年）时已叫黄田，当时归白马乡。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
崇祯六年（1633年），这里属白马乡，已称黄田，清代沿用。1950年仍在白马乡下，两年后单设黄田乡；1958年成为蕉城公社的生产大队；1983年一度归兴福区，1987年改隶蕉城镇，之后名称在村委会与管理区之间变过一次，1999年起称黄田村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
耕地约102.83亩，种水稻和蔬菜；当年村特色经济收入422.3万元，农村经济总收入1267万元。2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把黄田村定为2021年度全省乡村治理示范村的创建单位。[1]
著名人物[edit]
徐森源（1918年－1986年）是黄田村人，早年在梅县东山中学读书，1938年毕业，同年12月回蕉岭参加东区服务队的抗日民众自卫活动。[2]
