地名由来与沿革[edit]
清代这一带缺水易旱，乡人在溪上拦水筑陂用于灌溉，村子处在陂的一角，故称陂角。[1]
1933年已有陂角乡；1958年随蕉城公社改作生产大队；1983年划归兴福区，陂角与李黄两个大队合为一乡；1987年转属蕉城镇，1999年起称陂角村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
霞黄黄氏家庙建于清代，1998年和2007年重修，格局为四堂六横三围龙，通面阔91.5米，占地约8994平方米，是蕉岭县文物保护单位。[2]
铁耕楼是黄香铁的故居，又称「识字耕田之舍」，清道光年间建，四横两层走马楼式，占地约969平方米，后列为广东省文物保护单位。[3]黄香铁（1787年－1853年）原名黄钊，是霞黄村人，清代诗人和方志学家，编有《石窟一征》。[4]
经济与荣誉[edit]
耕地约1145.68亩，种水稻、果树和蔬菜；当年村特色经济收入541.7万元，农村经济总收入1625万元。2026年1月，陂角村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
