中兴村是梅州市五华县周江镇下辖的行政村，位于周江镇南端；据村情介绍，辖35个村民小组，在册1075户、4300人，耕地约2547亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

由中田凹、文兴两个村合并而成，取名中兴[2]。

解放之初编入五华县第七区，名为中兴小乡；1956年起成为中兴高级社，归中友乡；1958年人民公社化时单独立为大队；后来名称几度更替：1984年设中兴乡政府，1989年改作中兴管理区，至1999年定为中兴村委员会[3]。
