红源村是梅州市五华县周江镇下辖的行政村，位于周江镇西南面；据村情介绍，辖7个村民小组，在册182户、1084人，村域面积0.5平方千米，耕地约220亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
此地是老苏区，村名取红色革命源头之意，以纪念苏区人民的斗争[2]。
解放之初编入五华县第七区，与中兴村合为中兴小乡；1956年起成为源头高级社，归中友乡；1958年成立人民公社时改称红源大队，归周江公社；1977年起隶中兴公社，1984年为红源乡人民政府，隶中兴区公所，1989年隶中兴镇；2003年冬中兴镇并入周江镇，红源村随之归周江镇[3]。
