冰坎村是梅州市五华县周江镇下辖的行政村，位于周江镇北片，与长布镇相邻；据村情介绍，辖29个村民小组，在册595户、3366人，村域面积3平方千米，耕地约1100亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名原作「新槛」，「坎」与「槛」读音相近，「冰」取冰清玉洁之意，遂成冰坎[2]。
新中国成立之年归周潭第七区，叫新槛小乡；到1955年办起冰坎农业初级社，次年升为高级社；1958年1月改称冰坎大队，归周江公社；后来名称几度更替：1984年设冰坎乡政府，1989年改作冰坎管理区，至1999年定为冰坎村委员会[3]。
名胜古迹[edit]
1949年5月17日，五华县人民政府在村内的福庆楼宣告成立，机关即设在该楼[4]。福庆楼建于清末，是钟世镇院士的故居；2021年12月，梅州市人民政府将其列入第八批市级文物保护单位，名称为五华县人民政府旧址[4]。
著名人物[edit]
钟世镇，1925年9月生，出生地为今冰坎村，1997年当选中国工程院院士，是临床解剖学专家[5]。
