增洞村是梅州市五华县周江镇下辖的行政村，属周江镇；据村情介绍，辖9个村民小组，在册213户、1132人，村域面积3平方千米，耕地约530亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名沿用古时已有的地名；1999年经五华县人民政府批准成立村委会[2]。
解放之初编入五华县第七区，当时同属三友小乡；1956年起成为增洞高级社，归中友乡；1958年人民公社化时单独立为大队；后来名称几度更替：1984年设增洞乡政府，1989年改作增洞管理区，至1999年定为增洞村委员会[3]。
