历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，村里没有水圳，十年有九年闹旱，村民在田边挖井，用脚踏水车和杠杆式水架取水灌田，村名即由水车和田而来。1958年设车田大队，1987年改称管理区，1999年起称车田村委会。[1]
