南下村是梅县区松口镇的行政村，村内有义安围，2014年列入中国传统村落名录。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村明代属南溪都。据村史所述，公元922年南汉高祖刘龚为避灾曾驻在村内的义安围，围外有护城河，至今仍有西门、南门塘的叫法，周围设上、中、下三寨作军营，后撤离时留下老弱兵勇在此安家。后称溪南，以梅东桥南面大路为界分上下两片，居下片的便叫南下村。1958年设南下大队。^[1]

2014年11月，南下村列入第三批中国传统村落名录；此后村里的荣誉有：2022年1月，成为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2023年11月，得到「第三批全国乡村治理示范村」认定；2026年3月，名列「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。^[1]
