历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前属怀乡三区，是运阴股的一个大乡，保、乡两级都设在车田村；1954年起归池洞公社，1958年并入新冈，1962年分出，另设贺垌大队。1983年建乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年定名贺垌村民委员会，一直用到现在。[1]
地名由来[edit]
很久以前，这一带有念年礼、吹响笛、敲锣的习俗，村民常在这时放牛，因而得名贺垌。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网（未注明年份）载：全村在册812户、3686人，总面积7平方千米，耕地980亩；年平均气温16.5℃至22.8℃，年降雨量约1477至1941毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。主要作物为水稻和香蕉，特色收入是松香，上一年村农村经济总收入1600万元。[1]

- 国家林业和草原局在2019年12月公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单中，列有贺垌村。[1]
