和平村是德庆县高良镇下辖的行政村，村民委员会设在镇东北部，距高良圩镇约10公里，辖区面积约8平方公里，辖6个自然村、6个村民小组。据博雅地名网所载，户数150，人口719多，耕地面积190亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

20世纪50年代中期，这里是大江乡下的万光、和平两个农业社，「文革」后两社合并为和平乡，「和平」之名沿用至今。[1]

和平在1958年设大队，1981年建乡，1989年起称管理区，1999年成立村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地190亩，以水稻为主，兼种沙糖桔、皇妃贡桔和巴戟。村集体有林场200亩，其中玉桂占120亩，80亩承包给个人，承包费每年1400元。[1]

2023年4月公布的2022年度广东省乡村治理示范村创建名单中，有和平村。[1]
