高良村是德庆县高良镇下辖的行政村，村民委员会设在镇镇区范围内、镇人民政府旁，辖区面积约8平方公里，辖9个自然村、15个村民小组。据博雅地名网所载，户数534，人口2311多，耕地面积1709亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传明洪武年间这里已形成圩市，「高良」据说出自壮语，「高」指头或一角，「良」意为凉，合起来是高旷凉爽之处。[1]
据该网所载，高良村早先是东星社；1958年设高良大队，后来先后改称高良乡、高良村民委员会、高良管理区，1999年复称高良村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
水田1290亩，旱地419亩，旱地多种巴戟、沙糖桔和皇妃贡桔。村集体有酒楼、中心校房屋、维修站和山场300亩、林场50亩，多以出租取得收入。与县城相距33公里，紧邻旧321国道。[1]
高良富笋入选2020年8月公布的首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
