大寨村是德庆县高良镇下辖的行政村，村民委员会设在镇高良圩镇内、教师村附近，辖区面积约11平方公里，辖11个自然村、14个村民小组。据博雅地名网所载，户数399，人口2062多，耕地面积1322亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，该网的说法是村大人多，故称大寨。[1]
大寨解放初期归高良区管辖；1958年设大队，1981年起为乡，1989年起称管理区，1999年成立村民委员会。1925年9月，高良区大寨乡成立农民协会，会址设在大寨公祠，据该网所载是德庆县头一个乡级农会，旧址今在村内。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村民以种植水稻为主，另种沙糖桔、皇妃贡桔、巴戟；旱地种贡柑、沙糖桔，山地种巴戟、玉桂，水田种菜和稻。村集体有山场150亩和一些房屋，靠房屋出租维持日常开支。[1]
2019年9月，大寨村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
