据博雅地名网，村内辖14个村民组，人口合计2700多人，距圩镇较近。水田和山地都不多，村集体经济薄弱，村民以种水稻为主，兼在山地种沙糖桔、桂皮。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初建罗建乡；1958年划归乐城公社，名为罗建大队，1959年划归河台公社，1983年更名称罗建村委会，1989年更名称罗建管理区，1998年更名称村民委员会。[2]
