廊源村在高要区北部山区，距河台镇6公里，面积约8平方公里，通村的只有一条4米宽的公路。[1]
概况[edit]
据博雅地名网，村辖11个村民小组，人口合计2000多人，村集体收入很少，村民山上种玉桂、沙糖桔，水田种水稻和佛手。2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年9月列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，品种为黄金菊；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前隶高要一区；1952年建廊源乡，1958年划归乐城公社，名为廊源大队，1959年划归河台公社，1983年建廊源乡，1987年更名称廊源村委会，1989年更名称廊源管理区，1998年更名村民委员会。[2]
