河台镇都权社区紧挨河台圩镇，位于高要区西北部，博雅地名网称其为都权社区，原为都权村，2013年建为社区居民委员会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前隶高要一区，1952年划归都权乡，1958年划归乐城公社，名为都权乡，1959年划归河台公社，名为都权大队。1983年更名称都权乡，1987年更名称都权村委会，1990年更名称都权管理区，1998年更名称都权村民委员会，2013年建为都权社区居民委员会，至今未变。[2][1]
地理与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网，都权距市区60公里，尚德公路从村中经过；面积约3平方公里，辖13个村民小组，580户，人口合计2600多人，山地5000多亩，水田仅500亩，人多田少。村里建有幼儿园、村委会办公楼、文体活动中心和中心校教学楼，山上种肉桂500多亩，坡地和旱地种沙糖桔200多亩。[1]
2019年9月，都权社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
