高村在河台金矿南面，距河台镇2.2公里，位于丘陵地带，博雅地名网称高村村。[1]

据博雅地名网，村辖8个村民小组，人口合计2100多人，距市区55公里。山地大面积种玉桂、松杉，旱地种沙糖桔、佛手，水田种水稻，近年也有农户家庭式养殖禽畜。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前隶高要一区；1952年划归河台和平乡，1958年划归乐城公社，名为高村大队，1959年划归河台公社，1983年更名称高村乡，1987年更名称高村村委会，1989年更名称高村管理区，1998年更名为高村村民委员会。[2]
