双保村距河台镇10多公里，面积约20平方公里，博雅地名网称它是河台镇最偏远的村之一。[1]
概况[edit]
据博雅地名网，村辖6个村民小组，人口合计约1480多人，通村的只有一条3.5米宽的硬底化村道，山上种桉、玉桂、柑桔，水田种水稻。2019年9月，双保村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年9月，列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，品种为肉桂；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1998年更名为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]
