河台镇圩镇社区是高要区河台镇镇政府所在的社区，博雅地名网称之为河台社区，位于镇中心区；居民委员会设于1989年，2013年更名称社区居民委员会。[1]

1989年建立河台居民委员会，2013年建立河台社区居民委员会，至今未变。[1]

地理环境与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区辖4个居民小组，人口合计约2000多人；辖区内有4条街道，镇政府和河台金矿等单位驻在这里，有中学2间、中心小学1间，集贸市场1个、大型超市2间。圩日逢3、6、9，届时各路商家云集。[1]

河台之名的由来有两种说法，均与山洪把商铺冲到今圩址、渐成集市有关，见河台镇条目。[1]
