塘面社区位于信宜市区南郊，隶属玉都街道，2005年由村改为社区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

塘面在1958年设大队，1983年立乡，1987年建村委会，1989年改称管理区，1999年又回到村委会的名称。2005年3月21日村改居，设社区居民委员会，仍归东镇街道，2021年5月起由玉都街道管辖[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

博雅地名网载，社区下设20个村民小组，在册1348户、4736人（未注明年份），总面积7平方公里，耕地1180亩，种龙眼、荔枝和蔬菜，并从事养猪、运输和建筑业[1]。2019年9月入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
