此地曾建有一座朋情庙，村名由庙而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年至1959年间为朋情高级社，设朋情管区；1960年起有奇垌、曲流、旺茶、朋情四个大队，1963年才合成一个朋情大队。1983年起叫朋情乡，1986年起叫农村管理区，1999年起由朋情村民委员会管理。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，该村进入当年的省卫生村名录。[1]
