樟坡社区属信宜市玉都街道，在市区东部；名字源于从前山坡上的一棵大樟树[1]。
名称与沿革[edit]
博雅地名网说，此处早年山坡上长着一棵大樟树，因此得名[1]。它在1958年是竹山公社的樟坡大队，1983年立乡，1987年随乡划入东镇镇、改称村委会，1989年又叫管理区；2005年3月21日改名社区居民委员会，仍属东镇街道，2021年5月起属玉都街道[1]。
概况[edit]
该页记有25个村民小组、705户，总面积6平方公里，耕地500亩；种的是水果和蔬菜，所记上一年经济总收入6832万元[1]。社区2019年9月进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
