旺岗村是广东省江门市开平市苍城镇的行政村，位于苍城圩东侧。乾隆年间，许姓祖先从水口迁居此地，见四周有小山岗，便以「旺岗」寓兴旺。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，这里归开平县第一区；1949年后属十区，1955年划入苍城区，1961年起在苍城公社之下，称旺岗大队。[1] 1984年建旺岗乡人民政府，1987年改称旺岗管理区，1999年起为旺岗村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
全村8个村小组，490户、1873人，办有老人协会和卫生站。[1] 2009年集体总收入51000元：铺位出租4800元，山林承包3500元，土地租赁18400元，鱼塘管理费24000元。[1]
