中和村是民安街道辖下的行政村，统计用城乡分类为村庄。[1]村名来自1952年由文丹、苏屋两个大队合并成的中和乡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中和乡成立于1952年，由文丹和苏屋两个大队合并而成。1958年它被分回文丹、苏屋两个大队；1983年两队再合，恢复中和乡；1987年撤乡，改设中和村民委员会。1989年到1999年上半年，这里称中和管理区；1999年下半年管理区撤销，分为文丹、苏迈两个村委会；2005年两个村委会重新合并，叫中和村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

中和村列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）。[1]
