地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网的说法是，村辖8条自然村，连线之后呈龙湾之形，又以龙舍村面积最大，所以叫龙湾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
龙湾在1952年建乡，1958年改称大队。1984年大队撤销、乡重新设立，乡的办公地由龙舍村搬到了温窖村，这时下辖的自然村是北域、温窖、五固、土相4条。1990年起称管理区，1999年改设村委会，沿用至今。[1]这里的4条与地名由来中的8条不同，博雅地名网没有说明，应是不同时期的范围。
荣誉[edit]
龙湾村列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
