中和村是广东省茂名市信宜市贵子镇所辖的行政村，位于镇的东部^[1]。村情介绍称其辖6个村民小组，全村总面积11平方千米，耕地1244亩，主要经济作物为木薯、粉蕉、八角^[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：清代这里以大营坳为界与罗定县相邻，一带称中和，后来在大塘面建了一所小学，取名中和小学，村名由此而来。^[1]

民国时期属中伙乡第二堡，解放初期叫第三村。1958年归平民公社，同中伙一起编为中和大队；其后1960年分出了中和和秋风根两个大队，1961年再把中和、中伙分别设队。1983年建乡，随后几经易名：1987年成为村民委员会，1989年为管理区办事处，1999年重新定名中和村民委员会，沿用至今。^[1]

中和村地形为低丘陵，气候属南亚热带季风类型，年均气温约20至21度，年降雨量约2100毫米^[1]。村内在册332户，人口1797人^[1]。耕地1244亩，经济作物以木薯、粉蕉、八角为主^[1]。

村情介绍称，全村有640人外出到深圳等珠三角地区务工或在本地毛织厂就业，种植经济作物700多亩。^[1]
