历史沿革[edit]

白沙乡设于1950年，隶吴川县滨海区；1952年划归第九区，1954年转为雷东县第四区所辖。1958年改设白沙大队，归南三公社管辖。1983年复称白沙乡，1984年6月坡头区成立后属坡头区；1987年称白沙村委会，隶南三镇，1990年称管理区，1999年改称村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
