历史沿革[edit]
村前身是一个以近海捕捞为主的渔业大队，村名由此而来，也因当地海产丰富之故[1]。1987年莫村、北头寮、大辣三个大队合并，成立海丰村民委员会，隶南三镇；1990年称管理区，1999年改称村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，海丰村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2022年9月，被认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」[1]。
