地名由来[edit]

建村时村民盼望一村人安居乐业，故名永乐。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归古博都，民国时期属第十区泮村乡，新中国成立初期归八区，到1955年划入水口区唐联乡，1963年并入水口公社黎村大队（闯新）。1979年设永乐大队，1984年改称永乐乡人民政府，1989年称永乐管理区，1993年起属开平市水口镇，1999年定名永乐村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

永乐村在2020年至2022年连续三年列入淘宝村名单。2026年3月，它被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
