历史沿革[edit]
清代归登名都，民国时期属第十区龙塘乡，新中国成立后属八区，1955年属水口区龙塘乡。1963年属水口公社，称开锋大队。1984年改称开锋乡人民政府，1989年称开锋管理区；1993年随沙冈区另置，2005年起归水口镇管辖，村级组织自1999年起称开锋村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，开锋村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
