金山村是江门市开平市水口镇所辖的行政村，博雅地名网将它归为「村庄」，村情资料见下文。^[1]

地名由来[edit]

辖内有金山圩，村委会以此得名。^[1]

清代归登名都，民国时期属第九区沙冈乡，新中国成立后属七区，1955年属水口区。1963年属水口公社，称金山大队。1984年改称金山乡人民政府，1989年称金山管理区；1993年随沙冈区另置，2005年起归水口镇管辖，村级组织自1999年起称金山村民委员会。^[1]

中共中区特委机关旧址在金山村委会辖内，年代为1940年至1943年，2020年11月29日公布为第五批文物保护单位；水口镇的介绍称它又名张伟故居。^[1]^[2]

2025年，水口镇成立开平市水口沣沃农业发展有限公司，「淳乡金山」商标通过国家注册，用于辖区特色农产品。^[3]

金山村在2020年至2022年连续三年列入淘宝村名单；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。^[1]
