历史沿革[edit]
清代归登名都，民国时期属第九区六姓乡，新中国成立后属七区六姓乡；1955年属水口区六姓乡，1963年属水口公社，称联竹大队。1984年改称联竹乡人民政府，1989年称联竹管理区，1993年随沙冈区另置，2005年起归水口镇管辖，村级组织自1999年起称联竹村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，联竹村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
