黄布村是新会区睦洲镇东南部的行政村，全村土地约1.2万亩，有10个村民小组、1320户、5210人，集体收入以鱼塘为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

永乐年间（1403—1424年），沙田农民来此聚耕，形成10个自然村。民国时期归睦洲乡，建国初期设黄布乡，1958年起为黄布管理区，之后在三个、四个大队与单一大队之间几次分合，1965年一度合为黄布大队，辖11个生产队。1986年分为黄一、黄二两个村委会，2004年重新合并，成为现在的黄布村委会。[2]

地名由来[edit]

立村时，村前沿岸有长约3公里的黄色沙滩，远看像一条黄色的布带，故名。[3]

经济[edit]

土地中有山地1800亩、耕地3600多亩、鱼塘6400多亩，村里有卫生站2个，村民代表64名；2009年村集体收入为650万元。[1]2019年9月，黄布村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
