历史沿革[edit]
咸丰年间（1851—1861年），会城的关姓人家来此请人垦田，所居叫“关家墩”，后因店铺增加而成墟市。[2]道光年间的县志地图已标出海中的“南镇沙”。民国时曾与黄布、腰股并称“黄腰南”，建国初期与石板沙合为石南乡，1958年归石南管理区，次年改称南镇大队。[2]
地名由来[edit]
因处在睦洲镇东南部，又曾是热闹的集市，得名南镇。[3]
经济[edit]
有鱼塘2109亩、稻田1854亩、山林650亩，养殖对虾和四大家鱼，有党员40名。[1][2]据百度百科，村集体收入从2017年的48万元增加到2023年的887万元，村民年分红由零增加到1200元；村里规划建设南沙疍家休闲庄园等文旅项目。[1]
文化[edit]
每年农历二月，关家屯的土地诞、南广沙的周公诞、安全里的大王诞，以及南镇和老许的观音诞各有庆典。[2]据2024年的报道，村里约6年前清除了恶势力团伙，新一届班子接手后村貌改观，吸引了超亿元的文旅投资；2021年7月，“红色专递”志愿服务在该村率先铺开。[4][5]
荣誉[edit]
南镇村先后上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」（2019年9月）、「2021年广东省卫生村」（2021年12月）和「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位（2023年4月），并在2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[2]
