洋汾林村在汕头市潮南区峡山街道西部，324国道穿境而过。村地势低洼，常水漫田洋，故称洋汾，居民以林姓为主，简称洋林。林绵远自嘉应州迁入定居，时在明洪武二十一年（1388年）。[1][2]

现状[edit]

全村964户、5416人，面积134.7公顷，耕地约500亩。六十多家企业做文具、电子、针织服装和塑料制品，另有几家物流公司；华南贸易广场和嘉盛豪庭两处建在本村地界。[2]

峡晖中学、潮南实验学校和洋汾林小学都设在村内，在读学生一万多人；村中还有德善庵和宋大峰祖师庙。2019年9月，村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[2][1]
