溪南村在汕头市潮南区峡山街道，练江中下游南岸，因地处江南而名。全村由南新、南兴东、南兴西三个住宅区组成，2020至2022年上榜淘宝村名单。[1][2]

全村341户、1975人，耕地三百多亩，原是纯农村庄；2009年工农业总产值274万元，人均年收入1500元。二十多家小企业、小作坊做塑料制品、织绒和模具加工。[2]

2022年8月，溪南村被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
